Higgsfield pricing explained: plans, credits and what a month really costs
Short answer: Higgsfield is a website where you pay a monthly subscription for credits, which are points spent on each AI image or video you make. As of 2 November 2026, its pricing page shows Starter at about $19 a month (270 credits), Plus at about $59 a month (1,200 credits) and Ultra at about $129 a month (3,000 credits), with lower prices on Plus and Ultra if you pay annually, plus a free tier with no credits and team plans from about $65 per seat. What a month really costs depends on how many attempts it takes to get each usable asset, so work out cost per kept asset before you choose a plan. Prices change often, so check the current pricing page.
You want to know what Higgsfield will really cost per month for your kind of work, not just the number on a plan card.
I'm Ranjit, and I run Blur Studio: 15+ years building software, 120 apps taken live, and clients who have gone on to raise $10M+. I build AI systems and processes that help businesses do a lot more with a lot less time. I also work differently from most of what else is out there, more on that further down this page. Say hello.
The plan price is the easy part. The harder question is how many finished images and clips that price buys you. Higgsfield, an AI platform that hosts many image and video models under one subscription, charges in credits, and each model, resolution and length costs a different number of credits.
This guide covers the plans, how credits reset and expire, a credit table for common jobs, and a worked month with made-up usage so you can copy the method with your own numbers. All figures are from Higgsfield's own pricing page and help center as of 2 November 2026. Check the current pricing page before you pay, because the page shows rotating promotions. For what discounts and trials exist, see Higgsfield discounts, trials and promos.

Plans at a glance (checked 2 November 2026)
| Plan | Monthly billing | Annual billing, per month | Credits per month | Video jobs at once |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 0 | 1 |
| Starter | $19 | $19 (no annual discount shown) | 270 | 2 |
| Plus | $59 | $47 | 1,200 | 6 |
| Ultra | $129 | $99 | 3,000 (a slider also shows 6,000 and 9,000) | 8 |
| Team | From $65 per seat | Up to 30% off, per the page | From 1,000 per seat, pooled (pricing page: up to 37,500 pooled) | See the help article |
| Scale | See the Business tab | See the Business tab | More per seat than Team | Higher |
| Enterprise | Contact sales | Contact sales | Custom | Dedicated capacity |
A few notes on that table. The annual saving on the cards is about 20 percent for Plus and about 23 percent for Ultra, so I say "about 20 to 23 percent cheaper billed annually". Another part of the page shows a 30 percent badge, and I would not plan around that number. Starter shows the same $19 on both billing modes, so I see no annual saving there. The compare table also marks Seedance 2.0 as not included on Free and Starter. Older blog posts and comparison sites quote different plan names and prices. If you see plan names such as Basic or Creator, the source is out of date.
Team plans are for shared workspaces: Higgsfield's help article lists Team as 2 to 9 seats with pooled credits and Scale as 5 to 15 seats with more credits per seat, priority queue and per-member spend controls (the pricing card says 2 to 15 seats overall), and Enterprise is for 15 or more users or compliance needs. Higgsfield's fair-use rules ban credential sharing, so one shared login is a rule risk and not a saving.
Try Higgsfield with a discount
I use Higgsfield a lot and I love it, which is why I partnered with them to bring you a discount. Get started through this link and you can get up to 50% off for the first 3 hours after you log in. The size of the discount and the plans it covers can vary, so check the offer on screen.
Why other sites show different prices
If you search for this topic you will see Starter at $15 with 200 credits, Plus at $49 with 1,000 credits, and old plans such as Basic at $9 and Creator at $119. I saw those figures on review sites and on a Higgsfield blog post dated 24 October 2026, and they do not match the pricing page I read on 2 November. Plans were reshuffled several times in 2026, and some pages are never updated. Use this rule: the checkout page and the pricing page beat every blog, including the vendor's own and mine. If the plan name or credit count on a page does not match what you see at checkout, the page is out of date.
How credits work
- Spending order. Subscription credits are spent first. Then pack and promo credits are spent, soonest expiry first.
- Reset. Subscription credits do not roll over. On monthly billing they refresh on your billing date. Unused credits are lost.
- Packs. Higgsfield's help center lists fixed pack sizes from 100 to 4,000 credits (and an adjustable range up to 25,000). The in-product checkout listed only 500, 1,000, 2,000 and 4,000 on 4 November 2026, so the smaller sizes may not be offered on every account. Packs expire 90 days after purchase and need an active subscription to buy. Higgsfield's pricing page and help center print no pack prices: current prices and any discounts show at checkout, so look there rather than trusting a figure from a blog.
- Auto-refill. It is off by default and not available on entry-level plans. When switched on, it buys credits when your balance drops below your plan's threshold, at $1 for 18 credits according to the help center, with refill amounts of $20, $40, $90, $150 or $300. Those credits also expire after 90 days.
- Concurrency Boost. A one-time pack that adds 4, 8, 12 or 16 extra parallel generations, bundled with its own boost credits. I could not find its price outside the purchase flow.
- Failures. Failed generations usually refund automatically, but the help center says specific models might not refund. Completed generations are charged even if you do not like the result.
- Batches. If you ask for 2 to 4 outputs at once, each output is charged.
- Where to look. The cost shows on the Generate button before you confirm. Your history is in Manage Account, then Usage.
Terms 9.4 and 9.6 also say Higgsfield may change credit terms and the credit price of services at any time. For subscription price changes, the terms describe 30 days' email notice, effective from your next renewal. That is normal for subscriptions, but it means a cost sum you do today is a snapshot.
What common jobs cost in credits
These are approximate figures from the pricing page's compare table on 2 November 2026. The "~" means Higgsfield itself rounds them. The models in the table are from other companies unless noted: Nano Banana, Seedream and GPT Image are image models (from Google, ByteDance and OpenAI), and Seedance (ByteDance), Kling, Veo (Google) and Wan are AI video model families. Soul 2.0 and Speak 2.0 are Higgsfield's own.
| Job | Credits (approx.) |
|---|---|
| Image on Nano Banana, Seedream or GPT Image | 1 |
| Image on Nano Banana 2, or Nano Banana Pro (4K: 4) | 2 |
| Image on Soul 2.0 (Higgsfield's own image model) | 0.12 |
| 5-second Seedance 2.0 clip at 720p / 1080p / 4K | 22 / 60 / 110 |
| 5-second Seedance 2.0 Fast clip at 720p | 12 |
| 5-second Kling 3.0 clip at 720p / 1080p / 4K | 7 / 8 / 30 |
| 4-second Veo 3.1 Fast clip / standard clip | 16 / 40 |
| 5-second Wan 2.6 clip at 720p / 1080p | 7 / 10 |
| Lip sync clip, Higgsfield Speak 2.0 at 720p (5 seconds) | 14 |
I did not find published credit costs for Soul ID training (teaching Higgsfield a person's face from photos), Marketing Studio ads (ads built from a product page), Product Link (a Marketing Studio tool that makes a video ad from a product link; some people search for it as "Click to Ad", which is not an official Higgsfield name), upscaling (adding resolution to a file) or Cinema Studio shots (its camera-planning workspace). Higgsfield's help center says the exact price appears on the Generate button before you confirm, so I will not guess a number. Seedance 2.5 appears on the plan cards, but its per-clip cost is not printed in the table. For Seedance 2.0 at 1080p the pricing page says about 60 credits for 5 seconds, so trust the page over any blog figure. Do not read the "N videos" counts in the compare table as credit math either: they do not divide into the monthly allowance and the per-clip prices.
Cinema Studio 4.0 tops out at 1080p and 30 seconds per clip according to Higgsfield's help center and model settings, and the price shows on the Generate button first. The big lever here is resolution and model choice. The same 5-second idea costs about 22 credits on one model at 720p, about 60 at 1080p, and about 110 at 4K. On another model it is closer to 8. Draft cheaply, finish once.
A worked cost per finished asset (illustrative)
Use this formula: credits per attempt, times the number of attempts to a keeper, times the price of one credit.
Price of one credit on Plus, monthly billing: $59 divided by 1,200, about $0.049. Billed annually: $47 divided by 1,200, about $0.039. Ultra monthly: $129 divided by 3,000, about $0.043. Ultra annual: $99 divided by 3,000, about $0.033.
- A product still on Nano Banana Pro: 2 credits, 3 tries, so 6 credits, about $0.30 at the Plus monthly rate.
- A 5-second 1080p Seedance 2.0 clip, 3 tries: 180 credits, about $8.85.
- The same clip, drafted at 720p then finished at 1080p: 3 drafts (66 credits) plus 1 final (60 credits) is 126 credits, about $6.20. The final render is a new generation, so allow a second try on it if the look drifts.
- A 5-second Kling 3.0 clip at 1080p, 3 tries: 24 credits, about $1.18.
The numbers for tries are made up. Your own keep rate could be one in two or one in six, and that changes everything. Measure it in your first week.
A worked month (illustrative)
Say a small agency needs, for one client each month: 6 finished 5-second video clips, 20 finished product stills, and 4 short lip sync clips.
- Clips: 6 times 126 credits (draft then final) is 756.
- Stills on Nano Banana Pro: 20 times 3 tries times 2 credits is 120.
- Lip sync: 4 clips, 2 tries each, 14 credits per try is 112.
- Subtotal: 988 credits.
- Add 25 percent for exploration and mistakes: about 1,235.
On Plus (1,200 credits) that is slightly over. You would have three honest choices: use a cheaper video model for drafts, cut a deliverable, or move to Ultra. At the Plus monthly price of about $59, the effective cost for the month is about $59 plus whatever extra credits cost on the day. At Ultra, with 3,000 credits at about $129, you would have a big surplus that expires at renewal. For a single client, Plus with tighter drafting is usually the better start. For two clients like this (about 2,470 credits), Ultra starts to make sense.
Compare the result to what you pay today. If a freelancer or a stock library costs less per kept asset than your sum, the honest answer is not to subscribe.
What "unlimited" does and does not mean
Mid and top plans can include unlimited use of selected models for a set period, with no credit deduction. Higgsfield's help center describes long windows for some models, short windows for newer flagship models, and free-generation pools for others. The unlimited and free-generation items I could see in Higgsfield's plan data carried a short "buy until" deadline that moved forward from day to day, and the pricing page banners show rotating timed promotions, so do not buy a plan because a model is unlimited today. Four limits matter for pricing:
- Unlimited works only on the higgsfield.ai website. Through MCP (a way for an AI assistant like Claude to use outside tools), the command line, Canvas (a node-based editor that chains models) or Supercomputer (Higgsfield's agent chat that plans and delivers a project), every generation costs credits. If you plan to run Higgsfield from Claude, price it as all-credit.
- Unlimited runs in the standard queue, which is slower at peak times.
- Fair use means personal human use only. Automation, scripts, shared logins and reselling are banned.
- It is a one-time purchase for a period, and works only while your subscription is active. The model lists rotate.
Billing traps to check before you pay
- Promo prices end. A promo price applies to the stated period. Renewal goes back to the standard price. Pricing page prices exclude tax, which is added at checkout.
- Annual may be preselected. Some users report annual billing preselected at checkout. Read the line before you pay. Renewals are not refundable.
- Exclusive Offers. Higgsfield shows personalised limited-time offers to active subscribers. An upgrade offer lowers one payment, then renews at the higher plan's standard price. Offers that give access are non-refundable once granted. Write down the next-cycle price before you click.
- Auto-refill. Once you switch it on, it charges your saved card whenever the balance falls below the threshold. Keep it off until you know your monthly burn.
- Refunds. A refund is possible within 7 days of the first purchase if no credits were used, with a fee of up to 6 percent. Cancelling and refunding are separate steps. If you bought an annual plan inside that window and used nothing, Higgsfield's help center describes two options: a full refund minus the fee, or a switch to monthly billing with the unused months refunded. After the window there is no prorated refund. See Is Higgsfield safe and legit.
- Upgrades and downgrades. Upgrades are immediate and prorated. Downgrades start at the next renewal.
- Cancelling. Cancel in Manage Account, Subscription, Plan Settings, Manage Subscription. Access lasts to the end of the period. Pack credits stay on the free plan until their 90 days end.
How to pick a plan: a four-step worksheet
- List your monthly deliverables by type: stills, 5-second clips, lip sync, UGC-style ads.
- Multiply each by credits and expected tries, using the table above and the cost on the Generate button. Use a pessimistic keep rate.
- Add 25 to 30 percent for exploration.
- Choose the cheapest plan whose credits cover the total, then check the video jobs at once limit. If you need 20 clips by Friday, queue slots may matter more than credits. Free runs 1 at a time, Starter 2, Plus 6, Ultra 8.
Then start on monthly billing for the first two or three months, even if annual is cheaper, until your real burn rate is known. A cheaper plan you never fill is the expensive one.
When Higgsfield is the wrong buy
- You need a few clips a month. A single-model plan or stock library gives a fixed price.
- Your work is presenter videos, such as training or explainer videos with an on-screen host. A tool built for that may be simpler to budget. Check its pricing page.
- You need one model long term. Higgsfield can swap or retire models, so a single-model vendor's own plan may suit better.
I have not compared competitor prices in this article, because I did not verify them on the vendors' own pages today. Check each vendor's pricing page yourself.
How I'd approach this
I would not pick a plan from the headline price. I would open Higgsfield's current plans, run the worksheet above with three real briefs, and set a credit cap per session. I would buy one month, log credits per kept asset, and only then choose between Plus, Ultra or an annual plan. My guide to spending credits wisely goes deeper on drafting and re-roll habits, and the full Higgsfield review covers the data and rights terms. If you want a quick view of free versus paid, see free versus paid.
If you run this for clients, the cost control is a process problem: who may spend credits, where approved files go, and how prompts are saved. Blur Studio builds the repeatable workflow, approval portal or shared asset library around tools like this. You can read how I work with businesses. When you are ready to compare plans side by side, the official pricing page shows the current numbers.
Questions people ask
Why do other sites list different Higgsfield prices?
Plans changed several times in 2026, and many pages kept old numbers, such as $15 for Starter or a $9 Basic plan. The pricing page and checkout are the only sources that count. Read the plan name, price and credits there before you pay.
How much does Higgsfield cost per month?
As of 2 November 2026 the pricing page shows Starter at about $19 a month, Plus at about $59 and Ultra at about $129, with lower per-month prices on Plus and Ultra billed annually, a free tier with no credits, and team plans from about $65 per seat. Check the current Higgsfield pricing page before you pay, because prices and promotions change.
Do unused credits roll over?
No. Subscription credits do not roll over and reset each cycle. Extra credit packs last 90 days from purchase and need an active subscription to buy.
What happens to my credits if I cancel?
Access to your plan runs to the end of the paid period. Subscription credits end with it. Pack and promo credits stay on the free plan until they expire, according to the help center. Check the help center for which models they can be spent on.
How many credits does one video use?
It depends on model, length and resolution. On the pricing page, a 5-second Seedance 2.0 clip is about 22 credits at 720p, about 60 at 1080p and about 110 at 4K, while a 5-second Kling 3.0 clip at 1080p is about 8. The Generate button shows the exact cost before you confirm.
Are failed generations charged?
Failed generations usually refund automatically, but the help center says specific models might not. Completed generations are charged even if you dislike the result.
What does Unlimited really mean?
Selected models on mid and top plans cost no credits for a set period, but only on the higgsfield.ai website, in a slower queue, under fair-use rules. Through MCP, the command line, Canvas or Supercomputer, every generation costs credits.
Is annual billing cheaper?
On the cards it is about 20 percent cheaper for Plus and about 23 percent for Ultra. Renewals are not refundable, so I suggest monthly billing for the first few months until you know your usage.
