Which multichannel selling software lists my products everywhere from one place?
Short answer: Multichannel selling software is a tool that keeps one product catalog and one stock count, then pushes listings, prices and stock to marketplaces like Amazon, eBay, Walmart and Etsy. As of November 2026, Shopify Marketplace Connect is free for your first 50 synced orders a month, Sellbrite starts at $29 a month on monthly billing, Linnworks and Cin7 Core sit higher for bigger operations. Pick by how many orders you ship a month and whether Shopify is your main store.
You sell on Shopify, you want your products on Amazon, eBay, Walmart or Etsy too, and you want one place to list them instead of retyping every product.

What multichannel listing software actually does
Multichannel selling software is a tool that sits between your products and the places you sell them. You create a product once. The tool turns it into a listing on each marketplace, then keeps the price and stock count the same everywhere. When an order lands on Amazon, the stock goes down on eBay and Etsy too. That last part matters most, because selling the same last unit twice is the most expensive mistake in this whole area.
Good tools do four jobs: listing (create and edit listings in bulk), stock sync (one count, many channels), order import (all orders in one screen) and shipping (print labels, send tracking back). A SKU, short for stock keeping unit, is the code that ties these together. If your SKUs are messy, no tool will save you. Fix those first.
How to pick: five questions before you compare prices
- How many orders a month, across all channels? Most tools price by order count, not by product count.
- Is Shopify your main store? If yes, a tool that treats Shopify as the master catalog is simpler.
- Do you use Amazon FBA? FBA, short for Fulfillment by Amazon, means Amazon stores and ships your stock. Some tools charge extra to include FBA stock in the count.
- Do you need warehouses, purchase orders or kits? That points to an inventory system, not just a listing tool. My inventory management system guide covers that side.
- Who will fix it when a sync breaks? It will break sometimes. Know who gets the call.
The tools compared
Prices are from each vendor's own page, as of November 2026, in US dollars. Sellbrite's prices are its monthly-billing rates; annual billing is lower, at $24, $66 and $149 a month for the three paid plans and $16 for the FBA add-on.
| Tool | What it is | Price | Fits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Shopify Marketplace Connect | A Shopify app for listing on Amazon, Walmart, eBay and Target Plus | Free to install. First 50 synced orders a month free, then a 1% fee per extra synced order, capped at $99 a month | Shopify stores with modest marketplace volume |
| Sellbrite | A multichannel listing and inventory tool | Free up to 30 orders a month. Pro 100 $29, Pro 500 $79, Pro 2K $179 a month. FBA add-on $19 a month | Small brands on several marketplaces |
| Sellbrite for Shopify | A cheaper version for Shopify stores that list on marketplaces | Free up to 30 orders. Pro 100 $19, Pro 500 $59, Pro 2K $99 a month | Shopify stores wanting marketplace listing only |
| Linnworks | Order, stock and listing software with 100+ channel connections | Quote only, priced on order volume, no percentage fees | Fast-growing sellers with warehouse work |
| Cin7 Core | An inventory and order management system with sales channel connections | Standard $349 a month (5 users), Pro $599 (10 users), Advanced $1,199 (15 users) | Sellers who need purchasing, warehouses and stock control |
Shopify Marketplace Connect
Shopify Marketplace Connect, formerly Codisto, is an app that links your Shopify catalog to Amazon, Target Plus, Walmart and eBay. You manage listings, orders and stock inside Shopify. Its App Store page lists a 4.1 rating from 2,134 reviews, and the written reviews are split: some say that once it is set up, listings and orders sync reliably, while recent ones describe bugs with prices and stock. That mix is normal for a free-to-start app. Read the newest reviews before you commit. For a Shopify store that sells a little on a second channel, it is the cheapest first step.
Sellbrite
Sellbrite is a listing and inventory tool built for brands that sell on several marketplaces. Its listings publisher covers Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Google, Etsy, Shopify, BigCommerce and WooCommerce. Paid plans sync stock and prices every 15 minutes and import orders every 15 minutes. The free plan syncs every 2 hours, which is slow enough to cause overselling on a fast-moving item. All plans include unlimited channels, SKUs and users, so the price rises only with order volume.
Two details people miss. Amazon FBA orders never count toward your order limit, but bringing FBA stock into Sellbrite is a $19 a month add-on. And if you go over your order limit mid-month, you are moved to the next tier and charged a prorated amount.
Linnworks and Cin7 Core
Linnworks is order and inventory software with multichannel listing management, bulk listing revisions and more than 100 channel integrations. It does not publish prices, so you request a quote. Cin7 Core is an inventory system that lists Shopify and Amazon among its top integrations, with purchasing, warehouse and manufacturing features. Both are bigger than a listing tool. If all you need is to get products onto Etsy and eBay, they are more than you need. If you hold stock in several places or buy from suppliers on purchase orders, they start to earn their price.
A worked example (made-up figures)
Say I sell candles on Shopify and also on Amazon and Etsy. I ship 300 orders a month in total, 120 of them from Amazon and Etsy. I use FBA for part of the Amazon range.
- Shopify Marketplace Connect: only the synced marketplace orders count, so 120 orders. The first 50 are free, the other 70 carry the 1% fee. With a $40 average order that is about $0.40 each, roughly $28 a month. Check the app page for how the fee is measured.
- Sellbrite: Pro 500 at $79, plus $19 to bring FBA stock in, so $98 a month. Shopify orders count here because Sellbrite is the master. On the Shopify version, Shopify orders do not count, so Pro 500 at $59 plus any FBA need.
- Linnworks or Cin7 Core: $349 a month or a custom quote. Overkill at 300 orders unless I also run a warehouse and buy stock on purchase orders.
At this size the choice is between the cheap Shopify route and Sellbrite. The extra money buys faster sync, a proper listing editor and one place for all orders.
When listing alone is not enough
A listing tool answers one question: where is this product for sale? It does not tell you whether you made money. Marketplace fees, FBA fees, returns and ad spend all sit in different places. Many sellers find out a product loses money only after a year. Once you pass roughly three channels, I would connect three things: listings, stock and profit per SKU. My guides on Amazon seller profit and loss and Amazon FBA inventory management show what to track, and the ecommerce tool stack page shows where each tool fits.
Connecting tools yourself with an automation service is possible. Zapier and Make compared explains the two main options, and business process automation covers how to decide what to automate first. Be careful with stock, though. Automations that run on delays can double-sell. If a sync already fails for you, see the fix guide for Shopify and Amazon integrations that stop working.
How I'd approach this
I would start with the cheapest tool that keeps stock in sync, and I would test it with five products before moving the catalog. Clean SKUs first, one master list second, channels third. Add a channel only when it earns its keep.
I would move up a tier only when something specific hurts: overselling, hours lost on order entry, or no view of profit. A small brand under about 500 orders a month rarely needs more than Sellbrite or Marketplace Connect. Past that, or when your shop has rules no tool handles, the answer is often one connected setup built around how you actually work. That is where I come in, but start with a free trial first.
Questions people ask
What is the best multichannel selling software for a small brand?
For most small brands on Shopify, it is Shopify Marketplace Connect or Sellbrite. Marketplace Connect is free for your first 50 synced orders a month as of November 2026. Sellbrite starts at $29 a month (monthly billing) for 100 orders and adds faster sync and a better listing editor.
Does multichannel software prevent overselling?
It reduces it, it does not remove it. Sellbrite's paid plans sync stock every 15 minutes and the free plan every 2 hours, so a fast-selling item can still sell twice in the gap. Keep a safety buffer on popular products. The inventory management system guide explains buffer stock.
Do I need special software for Amazon FBA listings?
Not to list, but yes if you want FBA stock to count in your other channels. Sellbrite charges $19 a month for that add-on as of November 2026. Without it, FBA stock stays separate from your own warehouse stock.
Can Zapier or Make replace multichannel software?
For a few products, yes. For a large catalog, rarely. A listing tool handles category rules, variations and images for each marketplace, which a general automation tool does not. Zapier vs Make shows what each does well.
When should I use an inventory system instead of a listing tool?
When you buy from suppliers on purchase orders, hold stock in several warehouses, or sell kits and bundles. Tools like Linnworks and Cin7 Core cover that. If you only need listings and one stock count, a listing tool is cheaper.
Are the prices in this guide current?
They are the vendors' own published prices as of November 2026. Linnworks does not publish prices, so ask for a quote. Check each vendor's pricing page before you buy, because order tiers and add-ons change.
