Sellerboard alternatives: what to use if you sell beyond Amazon

By Ranjit Bhinge, founder of Blur Studio · Updated · 5 min read

Short answer: Sellerboard is a profit analytics tool for Amazon sellers. It shows sales, fees, ad spend and cost of goods in one dashboard, and as of November 2026 plans start at $15 a month on annual billing ($19 billed monthly). If you also sell on Shopify, Etsy or other channels, look at BeProfit (from $49 a month), Lifetimely (Shopify profit and customer value, $149 a month for up to 3,000 orders, plus $75 for Amazon data) or Link My Books (bookkeeping that posts channel sales to Xero or QuickBooks). If you want one profit number per product across every channel, a custom dashboard is the cleanest fit.

You sell on Amazon and at least one other channel, and you want one profit view that Sellerboard alone may not give you.

I'm Ranjit, and I run Blur Studio: 15+ years building software, 120 apps taken live, and clients who have gone on to raise $10M+. I build AI systems and processes that help businesses do a lot more with a lot less time. I also work differently from most of what else is out there, more on that further down this page. Say hello.

Why do people look for a Sellerboard alternative?

Sellerboard is a Germany-based profit analytics software company, founded in 2017, built first for Amazon sellers. Its homepage shows plans from $15 a month on annual billing, a one month free trial, and add-on tools for inventory, ad bidding, repricing and review requests. Its menu also lists Shopify, Walmart and eBay under other platforms.

The reasons to look elsewhere are usually these:

  • Your business is not mostly Amazon: the product is Amazon first. If Shopify is half your revenue, check how deep the Shopify side goes before you rely on it.
  • You need books, not only profit: profit dashboards estimate. Your accountant needs payouts matched to bank deposits.
  • You want customer value: repeat purchases and lifetime value matter more for a Shopify brand than for a one-time Amazon buyer.
  • You want your own numbers: some sellers have unusual costs, such as bundles, kits or multiple warehouses, that no ready-made tool models well.

What does Sellerboard cost?

As of November 2026, from the Sellerboard homepage:

PlanBilled monthlyBilled annuallyOrders a month
Standard$19 a month$179 a year ($15 a month)3,000
Professional$29 a month$279 a year ($23 a month)6,000
Business$39 a month$369 a year ($31 a month)15,000
Enterprise$79 a month$759 a year ($63 a month)50,000

That is cheap, even at the monthly rate. Sellerboard is hard to beat on price if Amazon is your main channel. The cost question changes only when you add channels.

Profit tools versus books: a distinction that gets missed

Profit dashboards and bookkeeping tools look the same on a sales page but do different jobs. A profit dashboard estimates profit today from orders, fees and the costs you entered. A bookkeeping tool records what actually hit your bank, matched to payouts, so your accountant and your tax return agree with it. You usually want both eventually. Starting with the wrong one is how sellers end up with a pretty dashboard that does not match the books.

When does a custom profit dashboard win?

A ready-made tool wins when its model of your costs matches yours. A custom dashboard wins when it does not. A made-up example: you sell 40 products on Amazon and Shopify. Amazon charges referral and fulfillment fees. Shopify charges payment fees, and 10 of your products are sold in bundles. Your supplier price changes every quarter. You want profit per product per channel, after returns, with the right unit cost on each sale.

Most tools handle the first parts and struggle with bundles and cost changes. A custom dashboard pulls orders from each channel, applies your own cost table, and shows one number per product. I walk through how to build one in build your own Amazon profit dashboard, and the general idea of picking the few numbers that matter is in the KPI dashboard guide. The Amazon seller profit margin article covers the fee side in detail.

Need something completely custom?

Everything above is a path to get it running quick and cheap. But sometimes none of these fit, and what you need is something custom that you own, built uniquely for your business from the ground up, with AI thoughtfully designed into the parts of it that your processes actually benefit from. An asset that grows in value, not a generic, one-size-fits-all boilerplate that's an expense with a lock-in. This is a complete bespoke build, and it's something I do very well. How I'd approach this

If more than 70 percent of your sales are on Amazon, stay with Sellerboard. At $15 a month on annual billing it is hard to beat, and the free trial costs nothing. If you are about half Amazon and half Shopify, try BeProfit or Lifetimely for a month with your real data and compare the profit they show to one product you have worked out by hand.

Add Link My Books or A2X when your accountant asks for it. Consider a custom dashboard when three or more of your products have special costs, or when you are paying for two tools just to see one number.
