Linnworks alternatives: lighter and lower-cost options for multichannel sellers

By Ranjit Bhinge, founder of Blur Studio · Updated · 5 min read

Short answer: Linnworks is an order and inventory platform that connects to over 100 sales channels, and it does not publish its prices. Its pricing page says you get a quote based on order volume. If that is too costly or too complex, the main alternatives are Sumtracker at $59 a month, Zoho Inventory with a free plan, Cin7 from $349 a month and Finale from $499 a month, all as of November 2026. A smaller seller can also keep a simple sync tool and add a custom layer for what is missing.

Linnworks feels like too much money or too much system for what you sell, and you want to see real prices for lighter options before you decide.

I'm Ranjit, and I run Blur Studio: 15+ years building software, 120 apps taken live, and clients who have gone on to raise $10M+. I build AI systems and processes that help businesses do a lot more with a lot less time. I also work differently from most of what else is out there, more on that further down this page. Say hello.

Why do people look for a Linnworks alternative?

Linnworks is built for sellers who ship many orders a day across marketplaces such as Amazon (the large online marketplace), eBay (an online marketplace for new and used goods) and Walmart (the US retailer's online marketplace). Its pricing page lists order routing rules, shipping label tools with 70 plus carrier connections, warehouse bins, purchase orders and forecasting. That is a lot of system. The reasons to compare are usually these:

  • No public price: Linnworks asks you to talk to a specialist for a quote. You cannot compare it on paper against a $59 or a $349 plan, which makes budgeting slow.
  • Add-on modules: its pricing page says add-ons for advanced functions let you pay only for what you need. That is fair, but the total depends on what you add.
  • More system than you need: if all you want is a stock count that updates every channel, order routing and warehouse bins are extras you pay for and still have to learn.
  • Setup effort: Linnworks includes a guided onboarding plan in every package, which tells you setup is a project, not a tick box.

None of that makes it a poor product. It makes it a poor fit for a seller who ships twenty orders a day from a spare room.

Blur Studio (best value)

A ready-built, well-tested core with a different pricing model: no per-seat fees, and it covers almost all the features you'd actually need, usually working out to the best value for money. On top of that, Blur Studio builds owned customizations, meaning you can ask for it to be modified to your exact specifications, and you own those modifications outright. • Best for: Businesses that need software that works without barriers, no unnecessary fees and options to customize it to their needs.

Sumtracker

Sumtracker is a stock sync tool for sellers on Shopify (a hosted online store platform) and marketplaces. Manage covers multichannel sync, bundles, barcode scanning and API access. It runs $59 a month for up to 2,500 orders a year, $119 up to 10,000 and $179 up to 25,000, with lower prices on annual billing ($50, $100 and $150). Replenish starts at $119 and adds purchase orders and forecasting. Both plans allow 10 channels and 10 warehouses. Its feature list shows no order routing rules or carrier shipping labels, so it replaces the sync half of Linnworks, not the shipping half.

  • Best for: Sellers who want the count right on every channel for the least money.

Zoho Inventory

Zoho Inventory is the stock tool from Zoho, a business software maker. It has a free plan with 50 orders, 1 user and 1 location, then Standard (500 orders a month, 3 users, 2 locations), Premium (3,000 orders, 5 users, 4 locations), Plus and Enterprise. It lists Amazon, Etsy and Shopify integrations. Prices show in your local currency, so check Zoho's pricing page for the current figure in yours.

  • Best for: Very small sellers and anyone already using Zoho for accounting or customer records.

Cin7 Core

Cin7 is an inventory and order system. Standard is $349 a month with 5 users, 2 ecommerce and app integrations and 6,000 sale orders a year. Pro is $599 with 10 users, 4 integrations and 24,000 orders. Advanced is $1,199 with 15 users, 6 integrations and 120,000 orders. Prices are for new customers and exclude tax. See Cin7 pricing for the extras that add up.

  • Best for: Sellers with suppliers, wholesale buyers and a need for one system.

Finale

Finale, now part of Descartes, is an inventory system with 40 plus integrations including Shopify, Amazon, Walmart and QuickBooks (accounting software). Essentials starts at $499 a month and Growth at $799, which adds a mobile barcode scanning module. Enterprise is quoted. Finale says teams go live in 2 to 6 weeks.

  • Best for: High-volume sellers who need multi-warehouse control and FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon) support but want a published starting price.

Sellbrite

Sellbrite is a multichannel listing and inventory tool owned by GoDaddy. It connects Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Walmart, Shopify and others, and its site says you can start free with 14 days of full access. Check Sellbrite's pricing page for current plan prices.

  • Best for: Sellers who list the same products on many marketplaces and want one place to manage the listings.

The simplest alternative is often a lighter stack

If your real need is "stop overselling", Shopify's own Marketplace Connect app syncs orders, listings and inventory with Amazon, Target Plus (Target's online marketplace), Walmart and eBay. Its App Store listing shows the first 50 marketplace-synced orders a month free, then a 1 percent fee per extra synced order, capped at $99 a month. Shopify's help pages say new Etsy connections can't be made with the app, so Etsy sellers need another tool. I compare the main sync tools side by side in multichannel inventory management software.

Keep a simple tool and add a custom layer

You do not have to pick one big system. A common path is a cheap sync tool for the count, plus a small custom layer for what the sync tool does not do. That layer can be a supplier stock feed, a profit view per SKU per channel, or an alert when a channel stops syncing. It costs less than moving up three plan tiers, and it stays yours. To weigh it, read build vs buy software, and for a wider view of what a stock system covers, see inventory management systems.

Need something completely custom?

Everything above is a path to get it running quick and cheap. But sometimes none of these fit, and what you need is something custom that you own, built uniquely for your business from the ground up, with AI thoughtfully designed into the parts of it that your processes actually benefit from. An asset that grows in value, not a generic, one-size-fits-all boilerplate that's an expense with a lock-in. This is a complete bespoke build, and it's something I do very well. How I'd approach this

Before you compare any tool, write down what Linnworks does that you actually use. Most sellers who leave find the list is short: sync, orders in one place, maybe labels. If your list is that short, start with Sumtracker or Zoho and check it with two weeks of real orders.

If you ship many orders a day and use routing rules and carrier labels, stay with a system of that class, and ask Linnworks for a quote next to Finale and Cin7 so you can compare real numbers.

Either way, keep the gap in mind. Every tool leaves one, usually the profit view or the supplier feed. That is the part worth building yourself.

Questions people ask

What is a good alternative to Linnworks for a small seller?

Sumtracker from $59 a month as of November 2026, or Zoho Inventory with its free plan, are the lightest options. They cover stock sync and counts, not carrier label rules. See multichannel inventory management software for the full comparison.

How much does Linnworks cost?

Linnworks does not publish prices. Its pricing page says plans are priced on order volume, not revenue, with add-on modules and guided onboarding, and you request a quote. Compare that quote with the published starting prices above.

What are common reasons to leave Linnworks?

The usual ones are no public price, add-on costs, and more features than a small seller uses. If you want to weigh a custom approach, read build vs buy software.

Is there a Linnworks alternative for multichannel selling with Etsy?

Zoho Inventory lists an Etsy integration (Etsy is a marketplace for handmade and vintage goods), Sumtracker has a setting to cap the quantity shown on Etsy and eBay, and Sellbrite lists Etsy. Shopify's Marketplace Connect app does not accept new Etsy connections, according to Shopify's help pages.

Can I keep my current tool and add features instead of switching?

Often yes. A small custom layer can add a supplier feed, a profit view or alerts to a tool you already pay for. See inventory management systems for what a full system covers and where gaps appear.
