Creatify alternatives: which credits expire, which roll over, and a five-URL test
Short answer: Creatify is a tool that turns a product web address into ad videos with AI presenters, and its credits are valid for 2 months. The main alternatives are invideo AI (a tool that builds a video from a text prompt, with an editor), Topview (a tool for AI avatar and product videos) and Higgsfield (an AI creative platform with many video models). Compare how credits expire and roll over before you compare headline credit counts, and test each tool on the same five product links. No tool tells you which ad won, so keep a simple sheet of hooks, spend and cost per sale.
You ran out of Creatify credits, or lost some to the clock, and you are wondering if another tool treats credits better.
I'm Ranjit, and I run Blur Studio: 15+ years building software, 120 apps taken live, and clients who have gone on to raise $10M+. I build AI systems and processes that help businesses do a lot more with a lot less time. I also work differently from most of what else is out there, more on that further down this page. Say hello.
This page is for a store owner or a small agency that has used a product-link ad tool such as Creatify and hit limits. It is about one thing the other pages skip: what happens to your credits when the month ends, and how that changes which tool is cheaper for you. For who offers what actors and the rules for AI presenters in ads, see my page on Arcads alternatives for AI UGC ads. For a head-to-head including Higgsfield, an AI creative platform, see Higgsfield vs Arcads and Creatify.
Prices and credit rules are what the vendors' own pages showed in my browser on 4 November 2026. They change, so confirm before you pay.

Why people look for a Creatify alternative
The reasons that appear in comparison pages and user complaints:
- Credit limits. A plan runs out before the month does, especially with retries.
- Expiry. Credits that vanish feel like paying for nothing.
- Watermarks on the free plan. Creatify's free exports are watermarked.
- Presenter look and editor depth. One comparison page says Creatify's avatars look synthetic and the editor is thin. That is a single competitor source, so test it yourself.
- No view of results. The tool makes the ad but does not tell you which one sold.
What a URL-to-video ad tool does
You paste a product page address. The tool reads the title, pictures and description, writes a short script, picks an AI presenter or footage, adds captions and music, and gives you a draft ad. Check which store platforms your tool can read before you start. The speed is the point: a first draft in minutes. The weakness is also the speed. The tool can state a wrong price, a feature the product lacks or a claim your lawyer would not approve. Always read the script before you export.
Options at a glance, with vendor numbers
| Tool | Plans as shown on 4 November 2026 |
|---|---|
| Creatify | Standard $15 a month ($10 on an annual rate), 55 credits, videos up to 2 minutes. Pro $55 ($38), 280 credits. Max $95 ($66), 730 credits. Pro and Max allow videos up to 10 minutes. A Business tier is also listed with 1,500 to 6,100 credits a month. Free plan 10 credits a month, watermarked. API prices sit on a separate tab, so check it if you plan to use the API. |
| invideo AI | Max $250 per seat a month on an annual plan, 8,000 credits a month (the page equates this to about 210 Seedance 2 videos). Its lower plans are not shown in the page text, so check them on the live page. |
| Topview | Team $56 per seat a month on an annual plan, 500 credits per seat a month. Its lower plans are not shown in the page text, so check them on the live page. |
| Higgsfield | Starter, Plus and Ultra plans on credits; Team and Scale for groups. Check its pricing page for current prices. |
Seat price, annual price and monthly price are three different numbers on most of these pages. Note which one you are looking at.
Credits: expiry and rollover compared
This is the part that changes your real cost. Here is what each vendor says, with the gaps stated.
| Tool | What the vendor says | What is not confirmed |
|---|---|---|
| Creatify | Its FAQ says unused credits are valid for 2 months, so they can be carried to the next month. Its FAQ also says manual edits to an exported project (text, captions, trims, media swaps) are free, while regenerating the video, avatar, voice or script uses credits. | Exactly how the 2 months is counted for each monthly renewal. Its FAQ also answers whether free credits carry over to a paid plan, but that answer was cut off on the page, so check it. |
| invideo AI | An earlier read reported that unused credits do not roll over. The rule has not been re-checked. | The current rule, and what happens on the annual plan. |
| Topview | An earlier read reported that top-up credits are valid for 24 months. This has not been re-checked; its Team tier says credits are delivered each month. | Both the top-up and the monthly rollover rules. |
| Higgsfield | Help center: subscription credits expire at the end of each billing cycle. Top-up, auto-refill and boost credits last 90 days. Free generations are a one-time pool. | Credit pack prices are not published on the pricing page or help center. |
HeyGen's FAQ says monthly subscribers' unused credits roll over for one more month, annual subscribers' credits accumulate until renewal, and credits do not carry over after cancellation. Read MakeUGC's expiry rules before you buy if you plan to use it.
What expiry does to cost
Take Creatify's own figure: its free plan says 10 credits cover up to 2 video ads or 20 image ads. That is about 5 credits per video ad, as a vendor "up to" figure, so real cost varies by model and length. Using monthly prices, a made-up month looks like this:
- Standard, 55 credits: about 11 video ads, so about $1.36 each at $15 before retries.
- Pro, 280 credits: about 56 video ads, so about $0.98 each at $55.
- Max, 730 credits: about 146 video ads, so about $0.65 each at $95.
Bigger plans cost less per ad, but only if you use the credits before they expire. If you use 20 of the 56 ads on Pro, your real cost is $2.75 each. Credits carry over for 2 months on Creatify, which softens this, but a plan you never fill still wastes money. A smaller plan you use fully can beat a bigger one you use half of. The rule: buy the plan size you used last month, not the one you hope to use.
Also do not compare the credit counts directly. invideo's Max has 8,000 credits and Creatify's Standard has 55, but a credit buys different things in each tool. Work out the cost of one finished ad in each tool, then compare.
Do not buy annual before a pilot. The annual rate is lower, but a bad fit locked in for twelve months costs more than the saving.
The five-URL test
Run the same five products through every tool you are considering. A plan you can finish in a week:
- Pick five real product links from your store: a best seller, a new item, an item with a long description, one with many variants, one with poor photos.
- Paste each into each tool with its default settings. Do not tweak the first pass.
- Score product accuracy: logo, colours, product shape, price shown, claims made. A wrong price or a made-up claim is an automatic fail.
- Score voice and captions: spelling errors, brand name pronounced wrong, flat delivery.
- Count retries and credits until you have one ad you would run.
- Write down the credits left and when they expire.
Pass if three of five products give a usable ad in two tries or fewer. Fail on any wrong price, or if the cost of one usable ad is higher than a template-based option. For template-based and feed-based options, see automatic product videos for new store items and best AI ad generators for ecommerce.
Measuring which ad wins: a spreadsheet first
None of these tools tells you which ad made money. A competitor comparison page claims that is a gap in Creatify and sells a fix, but the fix is not needed for a small store. A free sheet does the job. One row per ad, with these columns:
- Ad name and the date it went live
- Product and tool used
- Hook: the first line or first 3 seconds, in a few words
- Variant: what changed from the last version
- Spend, impressions and clicks
- Cost per acquisition (CPA), meaning what you paid for one sale or lead
- Credits used to make it, and what you would pay for a usable ad
- Verdict: keep, kill or retest
Change one thing at a time, usually the hook. After two weeks, the sheet shows which hook wins and which tool costs less per winning ad. That is more useful than any feature page.
Where Higgsfield fits
Higgsfield is not mainly a link-to-ad tool. It is a platform with many video and image models. It does have ad tools: Marketing Studio builds ads around a product, with Product Link and Ad Reference inside it, and Click to Ad is a Pro app on its apps page described as turning product links into UGC and professional video ads. How Click to Ad and Product Link relate is not clear from its pages, and their cost is not published; the Generate button shows it.
Where it is stronger: cinematic product shots, scene variety and a choice of models, so a product can appear in a place or a mood a template cannot give you. Where it is weaker: one-click, many-ads-from-a-catalog work, where a tool built around link import is faster. On credits, subscription credits expire at the end of each billing cycle, and top-up credits last 90 days, so use them or lose them, as with the others. Free-account output is watermarked, and the pricing table marks commercial use as not included for Free while the help center says the Terms do not tie commercial use to a plan, so use a paid plan for ads. See the Click to Ad guide, how to spend Higgsfield credits wisely and Higgsfield vs invideo AI.
Try Higgsfield with a discount
I use Higgsfield a lot and I love it, which is why I partnered with them to bring you a discount. Get started through this link and you can get up to 50% off for the first 3 hours after you log in. The size of the discount and the plans it covers can vary, so check the offer on screen.
Pick by need
| If you want | Look at | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Minutes to a first draft from a store link | Creatify | Built for it, with a free plan to try. Watch the 2 month expiry. |
| A timeline editor with AI inside it | invideo AI | You can fix the draft by hand. Check its credit rollover rule. |
| Avatar videos at a lower entry price | Topview | Team tier at $56 a seat on an annual plan; check its lower plans and top-up rules. |
| Product scenes and cinematic shots | Higgsfield | Model choice, not a one-click catalog tool. |
| To learn what works before buying more | A spreadsheet | No tool measures the winner for you. |
Who should skip all of them, and Higgsfield in particular
Skip every tool on this page if you have fewer than ten products and one good photo shoot. A few hand-edited videos or a short shoot cost less than a subscription you do not fill. Skip them if your ads must show the real product working, because AI-generated product motion can invent details.
Skip Higgsfield if you want hundreds of near-identical ads from a catalog, a fixed monthly price with predictable credits, or a simple link-in, ad-out flow. It fits when the ad is a scene, not a template.
If you have a developer, an API route may suit a large catalog. Creatify has an API tab on its pricing page, but it needs someone to build the connection.
How I'd approach this
I would use the free plans first, then pay for one month of the tool that did best on the five-URL test, on the smallest plan I would use fully. I would skip annual billing until a month of data in the sheet shows a winner. I would write each tool's expiry rule at the top of the sheet so credits do not quietly lapse.
If you want the product feed, the generator, the approvals and the tracking sheet connected so ads are produced and reviewed in one flow, Blur Studio builds that kind of custom workflow, and you can see how it works here.
Questions people ask
Is there a free Creatify alternative?
Several tools have a free tier or free credits, but they are for testing. Creatify's free plan gives 10 credits a month with watermarked exports, and HeyGen's free tier is watermarked. Higgsfield free-account output carries a watermark too. Use free plans to run the five-URL test, then pay for one month.
Does InVideo or Creatify have better credits?
It depends on use. Creatify's unused credits are valid for 2 months. Invideo's rule has not been re-checked, so check it. Counts are not comparable, because a credit buys different amounts in each tool. Compare the cost of one finished ad after a test.
Can I make ads from a product link elsewhere?
Possibly. Link import for invideo AI and Topview is not confirmed, so check their pages. Higgsfield has Click to Ad and a Product Link tool inside Marketing Studio. Check which store platforms each one imports, and read every script for wrong prices and claims.
Does Creatify own my videos?
Creatify's pages do not confirm this here. Check its terms of service for ownership and for the presenters and music in the ad, which can carry their own conditions.
What is Creatify's API price?
The API prices sit on a separate tab of its pricing page, so check it there. An API route suits automation but needs a developer.
Does Higgsfield make URL-to-video ads?
It has Click to Ad, a Pro app on its apps page described as turning product links into UGC and professional video ads, and Product Link inside Marketing Studio. The cost is not published, so check the Generate button. You can see the tools on Higgsfield's site and test with the five-URL plan above.
Do unused credits carry over?
It varies. Creatify credits last 2 months, HeyGen rolls monthly credits over for one more month, and Higgsfield subscription credits expire at the end of each billing cycle while its top-up credits last 90 days. Invideo's and Topview's rules have not been re-checked. Confirm on the vendor page before you buy.
