Which software should I use for my pressure washing business?
Short answer: Most pressure washing companies pick Jobber (quotes, scheduling, invoices and payments for service trades, from $29 a month for one user on annual billing as of November 2026) or Housecall Pro (an all-in-one tool from $59 a month). GorillaDesk, a service tool priced per route instead of per user, suits recurring wash routes, and Joist, a quote and invoice app from $8.34 a month on annual billing, suits a solo operator. The slow part for most owners is quoting, so the best upgrade is an instant quote on your own website.
You wash driveways, siding and storefronts and want software that handles the quote, the schedule and the payment without eating your evenings.

What does a pressure washing business need from software?
Pressure washing is priced by area, scheduled around weather and often repeats every year. So the software should do these things well.
- Quotes with photos and options: a driveway price, plus optional extras like a deck or fence.
- Online requests: customers send photos and an address from your site or Google profile.
- A calendar that bends: rain moves jobs, and you need to shuffle a day in a minute.
- Deposits and fast payment: card or bank payment when you finish, deposits on larger jobs.
- Reminders and repeat work: a text next spring saying it is time to wash again.
- Measuring: square feet drive the price, so anything that helps measure saves time.
Which tools are worth comparing?
| Tool | What it is | Starting price (as of November 2026) | Fits if |
|---|---|---|---|
| Jobber | Quotes, scheduling, invoicing and payments for service trades | $29 a month, 1 user, annual billing | You want photo quotes with optional add-ons and a customer portal |
| Housecall Pro | All-in-one tool with payments, marketing and a mobile app | $59 a month, 1 user, annual billing | You want online booking, reviews and call answering in one place |
| GorillaDesk | Service software for route-based trades | $49 a month for the first route, unlimited users | You run recurring routes, like regular storefront washes |
| Joist | A quote and invoice app for contractors | Basics $8.34 a month billed annually, Pro $17 and Elite $32 monthly | You work alone and only need quotes and invoices |
Jobber
Jobber has a pressure washing page of its own. It says you can take requests from your website, Google Business Profile and social media pages, send branded quotes with photos, add optional services and upgrades customers can select, get quotes approved online and collect deposits before you arrive. Annual-billing plans are Core at $29, Connect at $99 and Grow at $149 a month for one user, and the price rises with team size. Automated quote and invoice follow-ups start on Connect, which matters because many quotes go quiet. See my Jobber pricing breakdown.
Housecall Pro
Housecall Pro lists pressure washing among its industries. Its plans on annual billing are Basic at $59 for one user, Essentials at $149 for 5 users and MAX at $299 for 8 users. Online booking, quotes, invoices and review tools are in Basic. Photo reports with notes come with Essentials. See my Housecall Pro pricing breakdown.
GorillaDesk
GorillaDesk charges by route, not by user. A route is one technician who works alone, and a crew that rides together can share one. Basic is $49 a month, Pro is $99 and Growth is $149 for the first route, and extra routes cost more. Unlimited office and field users are free. Pro adds online booking, a customer portal and routing that uses real drive times (check the plan comparison to confirm what each tier includes). Growth adds map estimation tools that measure a property from a map, which helps when square feet set your price. Compare it with Jobber in my GorillaDesk vs Jobber article.
Joist
Joist's Basics plan at $8.34 a month billed annually covers up to 5 documents a month. Pro at $17 gives unlimited quotes and clients, your logo, photos on documents and work orders. Elite at $32 adds reports and sales reporting. Its $100 Run plan adds jobs and scheduling. It is a good fit for a one-person operation, but you will outgrow it when you hire.
Why quoting is the part to fix first
In pressure washing, the person who answers fastest often wins. A customer who requests three quotes books the first one that comes back with a clear price. Many owners quote at night after the jobs are done, so the reply lands a day late.
Here is a made-up example. A company gets 30 requests a week and closes 35 percent when it replies within an hour, but only 20 percent when it replies the next day. At an average job of $300, replying fast on all 30 requests means about 10 jobs, not 6. That is four more jobs, or roughly $1,200 a week. The numbers are invented, but the pattern is real: speed turns into revenue.
The ready-made tools let you send a quote quickly once you have a price. They do not set the price for you. An instant quote on your website closes that gap: the customer enters their address and picks what they want washed, the page works out a range from your rates and the measured area, and they can book a time in the same visit. You still review jobs that look odd, such as steep roofs or heavy staining. My guide to instant quote software covers how these work, and adding a free quote request form shows the cheap first step. If you do not have one yet, a simple website for pressure washing with a quote form can pay for itself quickly.
How do these tools handle weather and repeat customers?
Weather mostly comes down to how easy it is to move jobs. Look for a drag-and-drop calendar and a way to message every customer on a day at once. Test it in the trial: schedule five jobs, then try to push them all to Thursday and see how many clicks it takes.
For repeat customers, look for recurring jobs and automatic reminders. Annual washes are a steady source of work. A text in spring from a company they used last year often beats a new ad. GorillaDesk is built around recurring routes, so check how each tool you try handles repeat visits. My AI scheduling assistant guide shows where automation can help with rescheduling.
What will it cost for a small crew?
A made-up crew of 3 on annual billing: Housecall Pro Essentials is $149 a month for up to 5 users. Jobber depends on its team-size selector, so enter 3 users on its pricing page. GorillaDesk is $49 for the first route and $50 for each of routes 2 and 3 on Basic, so three solo technicians would be $149 a month, and the office users are free. Add card processing fees on every tool. Compare the total for your real headcount, not the starting price.
How I'd approach this
If you work alone, start with Joist or Jobber's Core plan. If you have a crew, try Jobber and Housecall Pro for the free trial, using real quotes. Pick the one where you can send a photo quote from your phone fastest.
Then fix the website. Put a quote form with photo upload on every page, and reply within an hour. After a month, look at how many requests you get and how long quoting takes. If it is steady, a custom instant quote and booking page is the next step, built on top of your scheduling tool. Do not start there. For the general version of this decision, see field service management software.
Questions people ask
What is the best software for a pressure washing business?
Jobber and Housecall Pro are the common picks for crews, GorillaDesk for route-based work and Joist for solo operators. Try two on real jobs during the free trial. See my Jobber vs Housecall Pro comparison.
Is there a pressure washing app for quotes?
Yes. Jobber, Housecall Pro and Joist all let you build and send quotes from a phone app. Jobber's page says quotes can include photos and optional add-ons.
How much does pressure washing software cost?
As of November 2026, plans start at $8.34 a month for Joist on annual billing, $29 for Jobber Core, $49 for GorillaDesk and $59 for Housecall Pro Basic, all for one person. A crew of 5 is closer to $149 to $299 a month.
Can customers book pressure washing online?
Yes, with online booking or a request form. Jobber and Housecall Pro include it, and GorillaDesk includes it from the Pro plan. For a quick version, see my guide on building a quote request form.
Do I need a website for my pressure washing business?
I would say yes. Jobber lists a website feature on its Core plan, but a site with your own quote form and photos of your work usually wins more calls.
