Service Fusion pricing explained: is the flat fee cheaper?
Short answer: As of October 2026, Service Fusion has three plans, all with unlimited users: Starter at $208 a month, Plus at $325 and Pro at $533 when billed yearly, or $245, $382 and $627 month to month. Yearly billing saves 15% and is charged as one payment up front. Several features are add-ons on the lower plans, ServiceCall.ai and GPS fleet tracking are add-ons on every plan, and the pricing page publishes no add-on prices (ServiceCall.ai's own page shows $25 per user a month). The flat fee usually beats per-user tools like Jobber and Housecall Pro somewhere past 8 to 10 people.
You're weighing Service Fusion's flat fee against per-user tools and want to know, at your actual headcount, whether it really works out cheaper once add-ons and payment fees are counted.

Service Fusion is one of the few field service tools that charges one flat monthly fee no matter how many people use it. That sounds like an easy win, and for a growing crew it often is. For a small team it can cost more than a per-user tool, and several features you might assume are included are sold as extras.
Every figure below comes from Service Fusion's own pricing and product pages, checked on 27 October 2026, in US dollars. Prices change, so confirm on the page before you buy.
How much does Service Fusion cost per month?
| Plan | Billed yearly (per month) | Paid up front per year | Billed monthly | Users |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $208 | $2,496 | $245 | Unlimited |
| Plus | $325 | $3,900 | $382 | Unlimited |
| Pro | $533 | $6,396 | $627 | Unlimited |
Service Fusion says yearly billing saves 15% and is "charged as one annual payment at sign-up." So the yearly price isn't a monthly bill at a lower rate: it's one up-front payment of $2,496 to $6,396. The page says all plans are offered month to month with no contract requirements, and every plan comes with personalized onboarding and unlimited support by email, phone or live chat. There's a free demo; the pricing page doesn't mention a free trial.
What does each Service Fusion plan include?
Starter: $208 a month yearly
Customer management, estimates and jobs, scheduling and dispatching, integrated payments, QuickBooks integration, invoicing, payment processing, project management, reporting, text message alerts and estimate options. That covers the core of running jobs from quote to invoice.
Plus: $325 a month yearly
Everything in Starter, plus job photo uploads, inventory management, job costing, and integrated voice and text. For most owners, job costing is the reason to be on Plus: it's how you see whether a job actually made money.
Pro: $533 a month yearly
Everything in Plus, plus open API integration, custom documents, e-sign documents, a customer web portal, and progress billing with recurring invoicing. Pro matters if you bill large jobs in stages, run maintenance agreements on recurring invoices, want customers to log in to a portal, or want a developer to build on your data.
What costs extra on Service Fusion?
The pricing page marks features as included, add-on or not available on each plan, but publishes no add-on prices.
| Feature | Starter | Plus | Pro |
|---|---|---|---|
| Job photo uploads | Add-on | Included | Included |
| Inventory management | Add-on | Included | Included |
| Job costing | Add-on | Included | Included |
| Integrated voice and text | Not available | Included | Included |
| Custom documents | Add-on | Add-on | Included |
| E-sign documents | Add-on | Add-on | Included |
| Customer web portal | Add-on | Add-on | Included |
| Progress billing and recurring invoicing | Add-on | Add-on | Included |
| Open API integration | Not available | Not available | Included |
| ServiceCall.ai | Add-on | Add-on | Add-on |
| GPS fleet tracking | Add-on | Add-on | Add-on |
The practical rule: Plus costs $117 a month more than Starter on yearly billing. If you'd add job costing plus inventory or photos to Starter, ask for those add-on prices on the demo, because two add-ons will often come close to the price of simply being on Plus, which also brings voice and text. The same logic applies between Plus and Pro if you need two or more of the Pro features.
What is ServiceCall.ai?
ServiceCall.ai is Service Fusion's own phone system and call tracker. Its page says it tracks which marketing source each call came from, routes calls to technicians without exposing their personal numbers, shows the customer's history when they call, and records and transcribes calls. The standard plan includes up to 2,000 minutes per user, pooled across all active users, and the charges are added to your monthly Service Fusion bill. Its page shows a price card of $25 per user a month, billed monthly, with no minimum number of users. That is per user, so unlike the plan itself it grows with headcount. Confirm the figure on the demo.
What are Service Fusion's payment processing fees?
The plan fee doesn't include card processing, and on a busy crew the processing can be a bigger monthly line than the software. Service Fusion's payments page, which runs on Stripe, lists these standard fees effective 1 December 2025:
| Fee | Amount |
|---|---|
| Card payment | 2.90% + $0.30 per transaction |
| Card not present (surcharge) | An extra 1.00% |
| Batch fee | $0.75 per day with transactions |
| Bank (ACH) payment | 1.00% + $0.30, capped at $15 |
| Chargeback | $30 per dispute |
| ACH return | $5 |
| PCI non-compliance | $59.95 a month |
| Mobile terminal (optional) | $1.50 a month per terminal |
Two things to check on the demo. First, which of your payments count as "card not present." That usually covers cards typed in by the office or paid online, and it takes those payments to 3.90% plus 30 cents. Second, the PCI non-compliance fee: ask exactly what you need to do to stay compliant, so a $59.95 monthly charge never appears for something a form would have prevented.
The ACH cap is worth knowing about if you do larger jobs. A $4,000 invoice paid by card in person costs about $116 in fees. Paid by bank transfer, it's capped at $15. Steering big invoices to bank payment is one of the easiest savings in the whole setup.
Does Service Fusion charge per user?
No. Service Fusion's pricing page says, "No matter the plan you choose, you'll have unlimited users." That covers technicians, office staff, dispatchers and a bookkeeper alike. By comparison, Jobber charges $29 a month for each user above the tier you're on, and Housecall Pro charges $35 a month for each user above Max's 8, with no published price for going past the 1 or 5 users on its lower plans.
When is the flat fee cheaper than per-user pricing?
A fair comparison uses a plan with job costing on each tool, since that's the feature owners ask about first. Prices are per month on yearly billing, from each vendor's own page in October 2026. Service Fusion's job costing is on Plus. Jobber's is on Grow. Housecall Pro lists job costing on every plan, so I've used its cheapest plan that covers each headcount.
| Team size | Service Fusion Plus | Jobber Grow | Housecall Pro |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3 users | $325 | $207 (1-user tier + 2 extra) | $149 (Essentials, 5 users) |
| 8 users | $325 | $299 (10-user tier) | $299 (Max, 8 users) |
| 15 users | $325 | $399 (15-user tier) | $544 (Max + 7 extra) |
| 25 users | $325 | About $689 (15-user tier + 10 extra at $29; Jobber quotes 16+ users through sales) | $894 (Max + 17 extra) |
At three people, Service Fusion is the most expensive of the three by a wide margin. At eight, Jobber and Housecall Pro are both $299, a little under Service Fusion. Somewhere between 8 and 15 people the lines cross, and at 25 Service Fusion is less than half the price of either. Every person you hire after that makes the gap wider.
Two caveats. The table leaves out payment fees and add-ons, which differ by vendor. And if Starter's feature set is enough for you, Service Fusion's entry price is $208, not $325, which brings the crossover point down.
What does Service Fusion cost for a real crew?
Take a 10-person HVAC crew that wants job costing and takes $60,000 a month in card payments, mostly in person, at an average ticket of $400.
- Software: Plus at $325 a month, paid as $3,900 up front for the year.
- Card fees: 150 payments at 2.90% plus $0.30 is about $1,785 a month, plus around $16 in daily batch fees.
- Add-ons: ServiceCall.ai, if you want it, at $25 per user a month on its page (about $250 for ten people), and GPS tracking at whatever the quote says.
So roughly $2,125 a month before add-ons, of which the software is about 15%. The same crew on Jobber Grow would pay $299 for the software and on Housecall Pro Max $369, so at ten people the software prices are close, and the card rate you negotiate matters far more than the plan. That's why I always tell owners to get the processing rate in writing before comparing anything else.
Is Service Fusion cheaper than ServiceTitan?
ServiceTitan doesn't publish prices. Its pricing page shows Starter, Essentials and The Works packages, each with a Request Pricing button, and describes the pricing as per technician. A per-technician price rises with every tech you hire; Service Fusion's doesn't. Get a written ServiceTitan quote at your real tech count, including any implementation fee, and compare it with the Service Fusion plan you'd actually need. My ServiceTitan pricing guide covers what to ask for in that quote.
What are the limits of the flat fee?
- Reporting that fits your business. Reporting is on every plan, and custom reports export to Excel. A view that joins profit, crew and lead source with your overhead and ad spend may still need a spreadsheet or a dashboard.
- API access is Pro only. If you want your own dashboard, portal or integration reading job data automatically, Service Fusion puts open API integration on the $533 plan.
- Accounting is one link. Service Fusion's QuickBooks Online page says invoices and payments sync to QuickBooks and customer records stay aligned. It doesn't describe job costs or time data moving across, so ask on the demo if you need those in your books.
None of these are reasons to avoid Service Fusion. They're reasons to decide up front what you'll add alongside it.
How do I choose?
- Count the logins you'll have in twelve months, not today.
- Price Plus rather than Starter if you need job costing or inventory, unless the add-on quotes come in well under $117 a month combined.
- Get the add-on prices and your card processing rate in writing, including which payments count as card not present.
- Price the same job costing plan on Jobber and Housecall Pro at that headcount.
- Pick the lowest total, then run real jobs through it for two weeks before committing to a yearly payment.
My Service Fusion vs Jobber vs Housecall Pro comparison covers features side by side, my Service Fusion alternatives page covers the wider field, and my field service software guide covers the decision more broadly.
How I'd approach this
If the flat fee works for your headcount and the thing you're missing is a report, a customer portal or a link to another system, switching platforms is the expensive answer. I'd keep Service Fusion and build the missing piece next to it: a profit-per-job view that includes your overhead, a Monday owner report, or a quote form that drops straight into your jobs, reading your data from exports or through the API on Pro. Before suggesting Pro for the API, I'd check whether exports can do the job on the plan you're already on, since the jump from Plus to Pro is $208 a month. Your crew keeps the app they know, there's no data move or retraining, and you own what I build. If the gaps are in the core of the product, dispatch or the mobile app itself, I'll tell you plainly that a different platform is the better call.
